Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino is Offering Guests Two Exquisite Menus
(SAN DIEGO) December 1, 2005 – When it comes to setting the holiday mood and holiday dinner table, the staff at Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino takes care of every detail from ambiance to entrees. Guests are invited to experience the holiday season at Barona Valley Ranch where the award-winning Barona Oaks Steakhouse and Ranch House Buffet are cooking up delicious Christmas menus. Whether guests are looking for warmth, elegance or amazing cuisine this Christmas, they’ll find it all at Barona. Guests can focus on spending time with family and friends by leaving the cooking to Barona’s Executive Chef Dean Thomas, who will spice up the holidays with a feast they’ll toast to all winter long.
The Barona Oaks Steakhouse will offer a three-course menu beginning with Lobster Pot Pie. A lavish main course will feature Kobe-Style Beef drizzled with Pan Juices served with Sea Salt Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and locally grown Organic Vegetables. Finally, the holidays wouldn’t be the same without indulgent desserts. The sweet selection is a festive Poached Pear served with a Chestnut Paste, rich White Chocolate and Candied Cranberries. These items will be offered à la carte or as a three course pre-fix holiday menu for $49 from 5 p.m. until midnight on Christmas Eve, December 24 and Christmas Day, December 25.
In addition to the daily menu of international specialties, Barona’s Ranch House Buffet is offering unlimited servings of holiday favorites. Guests can choose from an array of dishes including traditional Spiral Sliced Honey Glazed Ham, Carved Prime Rib with Horseradish Cream and Au Jus, Salmon Strudel with Leeks, Spinach and Lobster Cream and Cornish Hens with Roasted Root Vegetables. Side dishes include Three Grain Pilaf and creamy Shirred Crab Bisque, as well as seafood selections such as Poached Salmon, Peel & Eat Shrimp and Snow Crab Clusters. Guests who love to try a little bit of everything will also satisfy their sweet tooth with traditional holiday desserts such as Buche de Noel, Leckerli – a gingerbread favorite– rich Nesselrode Pudding, Noel Linzer Cookiettes, Austrian Stollen Loaves, Peppermint Ice Cream and Eggnog. The buffet style holiday feast is $25.99 per person and is being served from 8 a.m. until midnight on Christmas Day, December 25.
