BARONA DECKS THE HALLS WITH TWO HOLIDAY MENUS

(SAN DIEGO) November 29, 2006 – Enjoy this year’s Christmas celebration with flavorful fine dining at the Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino. This year Barona’s culinary connoisseurs have cooked up two special holiday menus. Barona’s signature restaurants, the elegant Barona Oaks Steakhouse and Ranch House Buffet, will provide menus filled with international specialties without the holiday stress of shopping lists, cooking and cleanup.
 
Executive Chef Dean Thomas has designed a three-course menu in Barona Oaks Steakhouse starting with a gourmet Crab and Lobster Napoleon garnished with Avocado, Parmesan Crisps and Meyer Lemon Puree. The main course is a tender Grilled Petite Fillet with Butter Poached Maine Lobster. To conclude the meal, guests will be treated to a warm Chestnut Bread Pudding topped with creamy Eggnog Ice Cream.
 
The Ranch House Buffet will prepare a seasonal selection of treats for Christmas Day. Guests will enjoy unlimited servings of some of the holiday’s best dishes, including juicy Spiral Sliced Honey Glazed Ham, Carved Prime Rib with Horseradish Cream and Au Jus, Seafood Cioppino and Christmas Duck with Tangerines and Scalloped Potatoes and Ham. Seafood lovers will delight at the selection including Sherried Crab Bisque, Poached-Salmon Seafood, Snow Crab Clusters and Peel & Eat Shrimp. An assortment of desserts will please every sweet tooth. Guests can sample traditional treats such as Leckerli gingerbread, Buch De Noel, Nesselrode Pudding, Noel Linzer Cookiettes, Austrian Stollen Loaves, Peppermint Ice Cream and classic Eggnog. These holiday options are offered in addition to the everyday menu of international favorites.
 
Guests may enjoy the Barona Steakhouse Christmas menu items a-la-carte or as a special pre-fix menu for $75 on Christmas Eve, December 24 and Christmas Day, December 25. The Ranch House Buffet’s all-you-can-eat Christmas buffet is priced at $29.95 per person and will be served from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas Day, December 25.
