A BOUNTY OF THANKGIVING CHOICES AWAIT AT BARONA VALLEY RANCH RESORT & CASINO

(SAN DIEGO) October 16, 2006 – For those who wish to make the most of Thanksgiving, spending more time with friends and family and less time in the kitchen, Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino is offering three distinct venues to celebrate the day.    From casual elegance at the Barona Oaks Steakhouse, to relaxed and fun at the Ranch House Buffet, to chic and comfortable at the newly renovated Sage, guests will have three more reasons to give thanks this season.

The Barona Oaks Steakhouse, the resort’s signature fine-dining venue offers an exquisite Thanksgiving feast in a warm, intimate setting. Executive Chef Dean Thomas begins the menu with a rich, Roasted Butternut Soup with Calvados Cream and a Mixed Green Salad with Warm Pecan Crusted Goat Cheese. Guests will savor a tantalizing main event of Turkey Tenderloin served with Cranberry-Orange Relish, Roasted Root Vegetables and Gravy, and a special fall-inspired dessert of Pumpkin Crème Brule with a Cinnamon Caramel Ice Cream Sandwich will sweeten the meal.

In addition to their countless menu offerings from across the globe, the Ranch House Buffet will offer a cornucopia of Thanksgiving dishes. Just some of the time-honored holiday favorites include Carved Turkey Breast with Cranberry Relish and Thyme-Peppercorn Gravy; Spiral Sliced Honey Glazed Ham served with Pear and Golden Raisin Jus; Carved Roast Round of Beef with Horseradish Cream; Candied Sweet Potatoes with Glazed Meringue; and Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes.  A selection of sweet treats including Pumpkin Chiffon Cheesecake and Warm Bread Pudding with Vanilla Cream will tempt guests to save room for dessert.

Sage, Barona’s new upscale, casual restaurant will also feature a delicious holiday feast of Roast Turkey with all of the trimmings.  In addition to a regular menu of spectacular California cuisine, guests of Sage can enjoy their Thanksgiving meal in Sage’s luxurious dining room, or take in the brilliant colors of fall in the glass enclosed conservatory, featuring panoramic views of Barona Valley and championship Barona Creek Golf Club.

The Barona Oaks Steakhouse Thanksgiving menu is priced at $47.00 per person, or items are also offered a la carte from $9.00 to $28.00.  The Ranch House Buffet’s, all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving buffet is priced at $29.95 per person and Sage is offering a Roast Turkey dinner complete with dessert for $16.95.  The menus are available on November 23 at the Barona Oaks Steakhouse from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., at the Ranch House Buffet from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and at Sage from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.  Reservations at the Barona Oaks Steakhouse are strongly recommended and can be made by calling 888-7-BARONA.

Blending the best of San Diego’s most elegant resorts with the gaming excitement of Las Vegas, the Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino is San Diego’s leading destination resort featuring 400 luxury guest rooms and suites, a 300,000 square foot casino, a lakefront wedding chapel, the AmBience Day Spa, a full-service events center, and the 18-hole championship Barona Creek Golf Club, rated the 3rd best resort course in California by Golfweek Magazine.
