SPRING FLAVORS BLOSSOM AT BARONA VALLEY RANCH

(SAN DIEGO, CA) February 27, 2008 – Exciting egg hunts, candy-filled baskets and presents from the Easter bunny are often the prelude of the most memorable part of Easter – gathering with friends and family to enjoy a traditional feast in the spirit of the season. This year, Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino’s Ranch House Buffet, a California Restaurant Association Gold Medallion recipient since 2005, is inviting guests to delight in its spring-inspired menu ranging from tender meats and flavorful side dishes to festive desserts. These offerings will be featured in addition to the Ranch House Buffet’s daily selection of global cuisine.
Executive Chef Dean Thomas will prepare such Easter favorites as Spring Leg of Lamb with Roasted Garlic Jus, Bourbon Brown Sugar Glazed Ham and Braised Beef Short Ribs served with a Collection of Onions and Apricot Mostarada. Guests will also enjoy sweet and savory breakfast favorites, including Classic Deep Dish Quiche Lorraine and Morning Omelet and Evening Creperie Satellite. Italian-inspired mains Potato-Gnocchi Dumplings ala Carbonara and Chicken Marsala with Parmigiano and Oil Cured Olives will be accompanied by colorful displays of Roasted Trio of Beets, California Asparagus Spears with Pancetta Vinaigrette and Handcrafted Cobb Salad.
For those looking for a taste of the sea, the Ranch House Buffet will also offer a selection of Mahi-Mahi with Braised Leeks and Carrots, Peel and Eat Shrimp, Snow Crab Clusters, Jonah Crab Claws and Poached Salmon.
An Easter feast would not be complete without a spread of delectable desserts. Easter menu sweets include White Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Cups, Lemon Sugar Cookies and Almond Macaroons in addition to the already extensive selection of dessert offerings.
The Ranch House Buffet’s all-you-can-eat buffet is priced at $29.99 per person excluding tax and gratuity and is available on Sunday, March 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
